Spring in Europe 2019

Spring in Europe 2019

As well as taking time to have a holiday in Europe this year, I also managed to combine it with some alpaca based visits at the end of my trip.  Once again, so nice to stay with my friends Christoph & Madlene, at my “second home” in Austria… thanks you as always for the wonderful hospitality. We also had the opportunity to catch up with Noemi & Marko, from Alpaca Della Foglia in Italy, and with Conny and Daniel at Sunstar Alpacas in Germany.  Great to see you all & thanks for the warm welcomes! I even had the chance to catch up with the kiwi shearing crew – Mike & Neil.

And while in Austria, it was fantastic to see the progress of Oak Ridge Ultima & Oak Ridge Frangelico. They are doing very well, and now have both had their crias.  They were mated in New Zealand, and great to see their progeny, who are carrying more bloodlines from our breeding programme.  Ultima has a dark brown male who was sired by Softfoot Shah ET, and Frangelico a brown daughter sired by our super black male – Sierra Vista Black Knight.
