ELR Marcel – Multiple Black Champion and next generation Black Stud Sire

I am very excited to report the progress of Oak Ridge’s next generation Black Sire – ELR Marcello ( known as Marcel).

With the 2021 show season behind us, he was a Black Super Star, consecutively awarded  4 x Black Champion Huacaya titles –

His fleece was also entered at the NZ Agricultural show and was awarded – Champion Black Fleece in Show.

Following on from the desirable traits that Black Knight has injected into Oak Ridge’s Black Programme, Marcel is the perfect option to add serious value into the next generation of black huacaya.

He exhibits fantastic density, fineness and uniformity of micron, a high amplitude, long staple length, along with a great phenotype.

Now working, he has confirmed pregnancies, with his first cria due towards the end of 2022.
